In a nutshell,(it) is that: we have to change the whole mode -a radical change has to come in the society of Sahaja Yogis! Now, if there is any question you ask me, before we start the puja.
Now, the problem comes in, where you are not the whole. All right?
Now, supposing, as I told you, if you are the whole, then who is the other?
Then you will, even if you have to hurt, say, for example:
if there is blood coming out of my thumb, I press it hard to stop the blood. It will hurt the thing.
But the discrimination must be used, that I'm loosing my blood which is precious, much more precious than this finger (that) it will hurt.
But that discretion must be achieved, you see.
In Sahaja Yoga, you're all free to develop your sense of discretion. And once you develop your sense of discretion, gradually you will know what to do.
In the beginning you will hurt, no doubt, because you are used to that. I've seen people here, just barking at each other, as soon as they see each other they start barking. You go anywhere in the whole country you go anywhere, they start barking for nothing at all. I was surprised. In a school, I went there, there also everybody is barking at each other, you know. Whether they are drunk or not drunk, makes no difference-it's the same state.
But after Realization, you do say -because you feel concerned, you're worried, but - you say in such a way, that you achieve the result.
See my point is -that is the criteria-: that you should achieve the results.
But, supposing a man has come for the first time (to a program) , and tell him that "you are a bhoot", then naturally he will be hurt. Very common! First day, somebody walks in, and you say (to him) "you are a bhoot". I mean, thank God, if he doesn't understand the meaning of the word bhoot -then it's all right! But first you think of being gentle, nice, embalming, sweet.
1984-0229: Shivaratri Puja, Pandharpur, India
Till you say "my" there is some duality. But when I say, "I, the nose" then there is no duality.
Shiva the Shakti, Shakti the Shiva. There is no duality.
But we live throughout on our duality and because of that, there's an attachment. If there is no duality, what is the attachment?
If you are the light and you are the lamp, then where is the duality? If you are the moon and you are the moonlight, then where is the duality? If you are the sun and you are the sunlight, you are the word and you are the meaning, then where is the duality?
But, when there is this separation, there is duality, and because of this separation, you feel attached.
Because if you are that, how will you be attached? Do you see that point? Because there is a difference and a distance between you and yours, that's why you get attached to it.
But "it's me! - who is the other?"
"This whole universe is me, who is the other? Everything is me, who is the other?"
It is not that it's a brain wave, or a ego brain wave.
So who is the other? -Nobody!
That's only possible when your Spirit comes into your brain and you become part and parcel of Viraat Itself. Viraat is the brain, as I told you.
Then, everything that you do - when you show your temper, when you show your affection, when you show your compassion, anything - is the Spirit, that is expressing, because brain has lost its identity, the so-called limited brain. It has become the unlimited Spirit.
I do not know, I really do not know, how to give an analogy to a thing like that. But what we can do, is to understand it, that, if a color is dropped in the ocean, the ocean becomes colorful - is not possible. But, try to understand, if a little color, limited color, is dropped into the ocean, the color loses its identity completely.
Think of the other way round: if the ocean is colored, and is poured into atmosphere, or onto any part, any little wee bit, or onto any spot, onto any atom or anything, it all becomes colorful.
So, the Spirit is like the ocean, which has the light in it, and when this ocean pours into the little cup of our brain, the cup loses its identity and everything becomes spiritual, everything.
You can make everything spiritual, everything. You touch anything: it is spiritual! The sand becomes spiritual, the land becomes spiritual, atmosphere becomes spiritual, celestial bodies becomes spiritual. Everything becomes spiritual.
So, it is the ocean that is the Spirit, while your brain is limited.
So, the detachment from your limited brain has to be brought in. All limitations of brain should be broken, so that when this ocean fills that brain, it should break that little cup, and every bit of that cup should become colorful. The whole atmosphere, everything, whatever you locate, should be colorful. Color of the Spirit is the light of the Spirit and this light of the Spirit acts, works, thinks, coordinates, does everything.
This is the reason today I decided to bring Shiva Tattwa to the brain.

Now the time has come for that, and it is working out in so many countries. Why not in this one?
All this is very simple. We call it Sahaja, meaning spontaneous, like one candle, one candle, which is enlightened, can candle, can enlighten many candles. But by itself the candle cannot get enlightened. If you are enlightened then you can enlighten others. You can also then start feeling the others on your finger tips because your attention and your personality becomes collective.
Who is the other?
But this has to happen. This has to work out. Everyone is endowed with a Kundalini and everyone can get Self-realization.

1/ Sahaja Yoga is ADVAITA, not dualism.
This has consequences.
Shiva Puja 2002 |
- She asks for OUR discrimination, OUR behaviour, OUR becoming to this state of "Who is the Other?"
- Not that the Vibrations will tell us (from outside); not envelopes; not a council; not super-sensitive yogis: US. You. Yourself. You-the-Self. It was all about self-realization, yes, or no?
2/ In advaita, you will know what to do. Not thinking much about it. But knowing by wisdom. This is what 'discretion" is. This is the meaning of 'Thy will be done", when there is no more difference. No more distance.
3/ Who is the OTHER?
be it in Greece, in Australia, in India, wherever we have to deal with a local division of the world -SANGHA, some people think there is an "other". This is, simply not Sahaj, it goes against the work this Avatar who was Shri Mataji dedicated Her Lifetime to, and it displeases the Goddess.
4/ If we were taught that this brain is limited, then, why carry on, instead of sitting down and finding out a solution? Let's ask our "in-chàrge"...
5/ Unless, let's consider this, that the reason is, somehow, because... these issues have nothing to do
with the spirit,
advaita,
and meditation.
