My 2012 Pilgrimage to Mother India

March and April 2012

Dear friends
I am in India.
In Delhi, my first visit was  paid to Gandhiji's museum, with a recontitution of his first ashram run  between 1923 and 1933, so, probably Mother as a child has lived in this environment. Started with 25 people, and producing Khadi cotton, it finally got 250 "inmates".
The time schedule of the Ashramites is copied below, but, first, let's read some principles wich are so clearly settled for the whole society by Gandhi:
About sacrifice...see Bordi 1985, a very moving talk of Mother

MARCH, 11th

From AGRA FORT
Once upon a time, ( more than once), Shri Mataji spoke hard on corruption.
Now it seems that a 14 years old girl CAN do it

A 14-year-old has started an anti-graft website. Another one, where you can post your trysts with bribe is making waves with Pakistan, Bhutan, Philippines, Bangladesh, Kenya, even China, looking to replicate it. Can these bring down what affects the average Indian the most - retail corruption?
ipaidabribe.com  says:
When my father passed away, I needed a death certificate. I was shocked that a bribe (Rs 500) was asked even from someone who is in mourning. I feel ashamed now for having paid it and wish I had confronted the person."

How they dealt with corruption in 17th c.

"An airport official at Begumpet airport held me back showing a small torn edge on my passport... He said he would let me off if I pay some money. I ended up paying him Rs 1,000 to allow me to take my flight."

MARCH, 30th

Dear 15,000 visitors, I am still on my journey in India.
After Nirmal Dham and Chhindwara, I am staying up to the 14th of April.
I will visit Nargol also

The Birthday Puja Seminar in Chhindwara has been  very deep, ( whomever organized it), gathered 15 000 persons (99.9% Indians), and I could feel the mood we used to have in Ganapatipule, specially for the tremendous work of the  yogis themselves, serving food, a.s.o., very smiling.

Everywhere I go, everybody says we have to go "back to the roots", many are listening to the "old tapes". It seems that Sahaj is re-connecting with Shri Mataji and meditation, much above ( or besides) the divisions. Though, many trustees (as well in the West), remain with the feeling that they are someting special and do not have to listen to any (good) suggestion. probably the flow of meditation will run near to them without them noticing...

So many  places are still emitting vibrations, coolness, and one can feel the Presence of the Divine. Any travel is a journey in the Self
What else?

Gandhi's response to globalization.

How to manage an Ashram.
"When we were fighting for our freedom, all of us were removed from schools because we were in the missionary school, and the missionaries believed that Christ was born in England. So they would not allow us to study in those schools, so we were all removed from schools, we had no education for some time. I couldn't pass My inter-science, for two years I couldn't appear, because they rusticated us from colleges and  schools, the government rusticated us. But we were such proud children, very proud. I was of course very much thick in it. I was never frightened. I was just an eighteen-year-old girl. And I remember..."
(Shri Mataji, Talk at Bordi, 06/Feb 1985)

Reconstitution of the First Ashram.
"...because it is My life, My mission, My existence, My everything is for the purpose of emancipation of humanity. Even the last drop of My blood is for that. So My satisfactions are very different. Please remember you are born of a very brave Mother. Please try to rise. Be proud that we are doing such tremendous task. Have that feeling of great valor. Then only, then only we can achieve results. "

Shri Mataji stayed in Brahmapuri six times between 1984 and 1990 along with the Sahaja Yogis from the West. She repeatedly stressed, "Brahmapuri is My place”.
Six pujas took place at Brahmapuri and many beautiful and divine incidents are recalled by the Sahaja yogis who attended these pujas.

This place has been selected by Mother for its rural location and also for its incredible vibratory environment. Around this place, happened the Sati-Tandava event, Sita-Rama stayed here, and Ramdas Swami also n the other shore.
Mother took care to vibrate most on the locations, apart from having a puja inside the same Krishna river, when the yogis ended the Mantras by a namaskar under its waters.
Brahmapuri: lodging and Pandal

Devendra, our best guide
Pateshwar, 15KM from Brahmapuri, is said to be the place where took place this sacrifice of Shri Sati and the Tandava of Shri Shiva.
The surprise is to discover the whole of Sahaja yoga there carved in stone.
Sati’s father Daksha organised a yagna, but did not invite Sati or Shiva as he had an altercation with Shiva in the court of Brahma. But, Sati who wanted to attend the Yagna, went even though Lord Shiva did not appreciate the idea. To hre great anguish, Daksha ignored her presence and did not even offer Prasad for Shiva.
Pateshwar: Sati Temple
Sati felt humiliated and was struck with profound grief. She jumped into the yagna fire and immolated herself.
Lord Shiva became extremely furious when he heard the news of Sati’s immolation. Carrying the body of Sati, Shiva began to perform Rudra Tandava or the dance of destruction and wiped out the kingdom of Daksha. Everybody was terrified as Shiva’s Tandava had the power to destroy the entire universe
It is said that the Gods gathered around Shri Brahmadeva... in Brahmapuri
In order to calm Lord Shiva, Vishnu severed Sati's body into 12 pieces and threw them on earth. It is said that wherever the pieces of Shakti’s body fell, there emerged a Shakti Peetha, including the Kamaroopa Kamakhya in Assam and the Vindhyavasini in UP.
Sati's Temple: only the yoni of the Shakti

Lord Siva was now alone and eventually undertook rigorous penance and retired to the Himalayas. Sati took a re-birth as Parvati in the family of God Himalaya.

With my friend Salvatore, we opened the mouth to say to our guide, at the same time: "seal the door, I want to die here!" The vibrations here are so soft, gentle and sustained, that...
But we went tout only to discover the Shiva part, and Sahaja Yoga in stones

Various caves have been digged, with Shiva lingams either massive or sculpted. This first one must receive drops of water from the roof at least in rainy season: at the end of the cave, we can see that the water runs down and lets calcite deposits on the wall.
As often in India, there is water on the top of this hill and the big tank next to the temple was half full after 8 months of dry season.

This lingam is adorned by probably 1000 thousand little lingams. The column behind shows the Kundalini
The Sushumna nadi
The Kundalini
As we all know, the Kundalini, which is correctly represented here with 3.5 curves, is meant to pass through the Sushumna nadi. In the middle of the column, next to the Kundalini we can see 5 spots in a circle, probably for the 5 elements we have to cross. On the Sushumna we could decipher the bijas Ham and Ksham
Shree Chakra as the Shiva lingam: Spirit in the Sahasrara
"If you get frustrated and unhappy with yourself, then there is going to be a problem. You have to laugh at yourself and laugh at your mechanism that is out of gear. When you start identifying yourself even with the instrument, then you are not there.
You are not the Chakra, you are not the different Channels – you are the Awareness!
You are the Power.
You are the Kundalini.
So you don’t have to worry about all these things being not in their proper conditions.

The lane to access this site is 2 miles on a hill crest between 2 wide valleys: we had the luck to walk it under the thunderstorm, with so many lightnings. We were wet from this warm rain, just melting  with the nature, and with the feeling to be a pilgrim of the old ages on the path of his Quest
Under the guidance of Shri Nandi

Visit to the temple of Bhairavanath in Amapuri, just after the big celebration - with colours.Another place visited and awakened by Shri Mataji!

Shri Bhairava's shoes.

A goldsmith had the custom to walk to a Murti of Shri Ganesha en offer puja each day. When he grew too old, he apologized that he could not do it any more. Then God told him: go back to your home, and never watch back!.
Of course, in his way he looked back, and the god behind him disappeared. He went hom alone and sad. Later on, the villagers took the statue out of its original place and brought it in a temple. This place has huge vibrations.

N A S I K
Shri Ganesha in the street of Nasik
Nasik is also the place of Shri Hanuman. This hill is Anjaneri, from Mother Anjani. Of course there is also a place for Lord Shiva

Anjaneri, the mountain where Anjani...

...gave birth to SHRI HANUMANA

Nasik Yogis brought me to the Temple

Next to the  BIRTH PLACE OF SHRI HANUMANA
The children around the shrine were singing during like 30 mn. All come from a specific orphanage. All of them have parents  who were that killed themselves, committed suicide, because of the debts they owed to landlords, zamindars or usurers. They are taken in charge by this national orphanage- unique in Maharashtra.

Old place of worship - with vibrations - Visited by Shri Mataji
Leaving Anjaneri under the full moon to...

Nargol beach
N A R G O L
To go to Nargol is not that easy. I must thank all the yogis that helped me specially people from Vapi. After one hour in rickshaw across the countryside ( poor guy was a bit lost) we found the guest house ( run by a Parsi trust) and there, behind.. the Beach

From the beach you can see the place where Mother ,...

...on this sand dune, opened the Sahasrara, on May 5th, 1970
The vibrations here are amazing. The subtle body bubbles of pure joy, causeless joy- as you do nothing, it is just there. Must be what Nirananda is...

Since the Christmas puja of the Delhi Trust, this shrine has been made. Then, because of this celebration, Nargol people just DISCOVERED that they had been living next to such a holy place without knowing anything about it since 40 years!!! Different realized souls come each morning and each afternoon to do a little puja, offer flowers and sing the aarti, with the three mantras. But they do not know anything yet, how to give realization to others ( Kundalini jagruti), how to balance right and left, how to do a workshop.

In those three days of meditation I couldn't help much with the "locals", but tried my best with the basics. Though, they know about "Jala-Pani" - footsoaking in the sea- which is just there at 200 meters at the end of the photo.
The next tree is said to wear a murti of Shri Ganesha - as Mother explained that Shri Ganesha was there next to Her on that 5th of May night.
Gate to the Nirmal wood...
Since the seminar, a gate has been built, at the end of the cricket field.
Leaving with this sunset on the Oman Sea, taken from the Beach
End of the Indian tour
"... So after so many days the Sahasrara has been opened out. We have to open out our Sahasrara again through our meditative processes, through understanding ourselves and others, maybe logically reaching that point, there's no way out now.
We have reached to the end of it now, the whole logic has ended up now, jump in the ocean of love – finished!
Once you jump in the ocean of love there's nothing to be done, just to be enjoyed, every wave of it, every hue of it, every touch of it.
That is what one has to learn by reasoning, that Sahaja Yoga is nothing but - is love."
